I co-founded Unlimited in 1997 and was appointed Chief Executive in 2008. Under my leadership Unlimited became a registered charity, a regularly funded Arts Council of England ‘National Portfolio Organisation’ and received numerous prestigious awards. The company was widely recognised as a sector leader in producing consistently high quality, cross-artform work with constant innovation in its approach. In 2023 I oversaw the company’s transition from a producing company to a grant making foundation.

Responsibilities as CEO
• Strategic Development, Business Planning, Income Generation Strategy
• Build, maintain & develop senior stakeholder relationships (co-producers, project partners, funders)
• Leadership of 5 Permanent Staff and Project Teams up to 30
• Accountable for core and project budgets (turnover c.350k pa)

Shared responsibilities
• Fundraising – strategy and bid writing
• Care for staff and freelancers including training and wellbeing
• Financial management and reporting
• Board recruitment, Trustee management and statutory reporting
